Heather Freeman represents Social Security disability claimants/plaintiffs in federal court appeals in multiple jurisdictions and at the Social Security Administration’s Appeals Council. Ms. Freeman also provides consulting and writing services for attorneys and claimants’ representatives nationwide.


Arpit Garg Related seminars and products: 1

Attorney


Arpit K. Garg led the briefing and argued Hicks v. Commissioner, as well as a predecessor appeal involving exhaustion, Martin v. Colvin, in the Sixth Circuit. He is a Counsel in the Appellate & Supreme Court Litigation Group at Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr LLP, which has provided pro bono assistance with the Conn litigation since November 2015. He clerked for Judge Reinhardt on the Ninth Circuit, Judge Cote on the Southern District of New York, and Justices Souter and Breyer on the Supreme Court.

John Goss has been practicing law since 1977 and started his practice Goss & Fentress in 1982. His area of specialty is Social Security Disability Law and has successfully represented thousands of disability claimants throughout his career. Mr. Goss responded to NOSSCR’s 2015 call for attorneys to represent disability claimants being subject to redetermination in Eastern KY and WV. To date he has represented over 50 of these claimants and has been active in training volunteer attorneys in KY. He is one of six recipients of the 2016 ABA Pro Bono Award. Mr. Goss earned his J.D. from Marshall-Wythe School of Law, College of William & Mary

John Patitucci graduated cum laude from Providence College in 2007 and obtained a degree in Political Science. After college, he returned to New York and attended Brooklyn Law School, where he also graduated cum laude. John was admitted to the New York Bar in 2017. He is also licensed to practice in Massachusetts and the United State District Courts for the Eastern District of New York. John has been practicing in the area of Social Security Disability law for nearly 7 years and is a member of the New York State Bar Association. Throughout his professional career, John has shown his dedication to serving those underprivileged in our community by volunteering at Nassau Suffolk Law Services and Greater Boston Legal Services. John was awarded a Certificate of Recognition by the Suffolk County Pro Bono Foundation, Nassau Suffolk Law Services, and Suffolk County Bar Association for his contribution of time, efforts, expertise and exemplary service to the Suffolk Pro Bono Project.
