Lesson Description:

The third section Chi Sao takes you into a new direction of dealing with a pull or shocking effect on your body. It deals specifically with direct shocks that are felt through the arms and shoulders and in particular the spine and cervical section.

Again please start this slowly as these exercises can be dangerous for those not prepared physically.

The third section not only teaches you to deal with sudden shocking or jerking, pulling movements but also teaches you how to counter react, and keep yourself connected and sticking to your opponent at all times.

You learn a two-man set that teaches both of you the benefits of ebbing attacks and learning how to attack.

We also look at Chi Sao and how we can counter side-on attacks – for example a side Fak Sao to the neck – and, of course, high intensity drilling is proposed while keeping Chi Sao and fighting principles intact.
