Lesson Description:

Now we will be introducing the more Westernized concept of Lat Sao training.

These lessons are trained in many schools over the world. Sifu Fernandez adds his personal touch and realism to ensure maximum benefits to his students.

We have many lessons to present and will cover a great many deal of training applications.

The lessons begin to explain how to work consistently at close range and are more focused on highly repetitive exercises. However, we go into great detail looking at most, if not all, angles of attacks.

We look at dealing with a multitude of strikes, differing angles of attacks, elbow attacks, kicks, knees, clinches, levers and much more.

Bringing all combat reflexes into play by working on a unified program, the Western Lat Saos (if trained correctly) can be of great benefit on all levels, including mental and physical conditioning.

We also look at long-range combat and learning the Chum Kiu principles.

Finally, we bring into play a reflex program which is called Western Lat Sao with Knives.

This program increases awareness of the right angulations of the arms and body posture.

A very rich and detailed program presenting many lessons covering combat drills and Wing Chun reflexes.
