Lesson Description:

Dan Chi Sao, unfortunately, is very frowned upon by many who practice this art. Many prefer to jump straight into Poon Sao and overlook at the many benefits of how to train with one arm.

It is important to realize that Dan Chi exists for a good reason, and that it helps you learn how to increase coordination, and concentration of your energy on both sides of your body.

It also teaches the arms not to depend on the other almost giving it a separate conscience and sense of individuality.

This is important for people who want to become good at Wing Chun. To have physical freedom one must train hard to obtain it.

The Dan Chi Sao starts with the basic traditional Dan Chi then moves on to ‘Moving Dan Chi’ and then finalizes with one arm Chi Sao or one arm sparring.
