You’ll learn why vaccines were developed, how the immune system is designed to protect the body with its wonderful “back-up” systems, why vaccines are oftentimes given too frequently, and what happens when vaccines “go wrong”. At the completion of this course, you will feel empowered to make the right decisions for your animals.
Your Instructor
Dr. Barb Fox is a 1994 graduate of Iowa State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. In 2007, after a life-threatening health scare, Dr. Fox turned to holistic medicine and therapies to heal her body. Thrilled with getting her life back, she began researching and attending a multitude of conferences, workshops, and classes to educate herself how to use alternative therapies on her animal patients.
Dr. Fox speaks at a natural health conferences all across the United States and is a published author in several holistic health journals. She does private consulting for her clients via telemedicine so she can reach more animal guardians who are seeking a holistic practitioner. Dr. Fox is a member of the American Veterinarian Medical Association, the American Holistic Veterinary Medical Association, and is a board member of the Veterinary Medical Aromatherapy Association.
Dr. Fox lives on a farm in northeast Iowa with her husband, Gary, their array of kitties, and two horses, Pal and Chaser. In her spare time, she loves to hike, rock hunt, read, and spend quiet nights around the fire pit.
