This course is for massage therapists who desire to become massage therapy instructors and for massage instructors who wish to enhance their skills. In this online home study cognitive overview of the Adult Learner course, participants will be introduced to the fundamentals of becoming an educator for adult learners. A small preview of topics included are: the Career Opportunities For Massage Instructors, The Process Of Becoming A Massage Therapy Instructor, How to Develop A Course Syllabus, The Teaching Goals Inventory, Online Education, Self-Directed Learning, Studying and Test Taking, Time Management, Documents from the Texas Department of State Health Services (as an example of state rules and regulations), and Resources for Advanced Study.
This course includes a course notebook and an online instructional video. 30 hrs. of CE credit that cover the 12 hours for TX continuing education.
